This the problem I have to software, too many options. You have to be mad disciplined. I used to get so hung up with trying to make the mix right... now I just record to the 4 track (or this little 8 track). It forces you to make decisions and live with them. I just shoot for the lo-fi zone and call it a day. It's way less stressful.

The members of Portishead were saying how they ditched Pro Tools in favor of a 24 track Radar Machine because the limitations forces them to make a decision instead of staring at 100 tracks on a computer screen.

Yeah, this ..what I call 'cluster-bombing'.. is happening on my MV as well...

Having 120+ tracks makes it tempting to just record small things on to a new track every time, but it makes things very scattered-like and it's easy to lose the overview. :roll:
