record pattern to pad

do you know if it is possible to record a pattern to a pad?

I'm pretty sure you would have to record to something else and then sample that to a pad.

jepp. it is of course possible to record to pc and than back on a pad, BUT than i have to chop it again, and thats again to much work!

on the 555 you can record a pattern to a pad...just make a pattern then record it threw the loop capture then assign it to a pad...

i miss my 555, but 303 and ASR 10 will do.

Nice, the 555 is full of neat tricks. Sounds like you got a mean combo now though.

yes of course u can do this with the loop function, but this is no guarantee that the sample is EXACT the same lenght as the pattern....

i was just thinking of this option, cause i did not find it in the manual....
would be nice to perfom this, cause if you are moving samples from pads that were used, the pattern gets changed.....!

i'm pretty sure it will be the exact same time as long as you use the "Measure" function on the loop capture...
