SP-404 Cases

Post by aveybear »

Hey guys,

First of all, this is an awesome forum! I've been lurking for awhile, and it's nice to see so many patient, knowledgeable people all in one place (on the internet, no less)!

Second of all, I plan on getting an SP-404 for Christmas this year to replace my SP-303, which broke due to poor handling while going from gig to gig. So, I was wondering if any of you guys had recommendations for good foam-lined, briefcase style cases that can be used with the SP-404. I know Roland sells a gig bag that can be used with the 404 or 555, but it's hella overpriced and doesn't look like it's very secure.

I was looking at this Vanguard case, but if you guys know of anything cheaper/better, I'd appreciate the recommendation: http://www.amazon.com/Vanguard-Diamond-Hard-Sided-Case/dp/B00022OB7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1227948055&sr=1-1

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to posting here more after I get my SP-404! :D

http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Protector-F ... 331&sr=1-1

I use one of those, the foam inside has a grid scored into it so you can easily pull out sections to fit your sampler snug. Worked great for the 404 I had and the 303 I have now. Has plenty of room to put the ac apapter too without being too big.
