I agree that battles have grown to people just making a beat like they would normally which is not a challenge to anyone. The point is to see how nasty people could get with the most limited stuff, but back then we only had 404/303's getting down. I just don't see how battles are really any different from the regular music section, a side from the fact that everyone used the same sounds.

i make mine all in the sp and record in to ableton live but thats it i only use ableton to get from the sp to the pc otherwise i would be winning everytime lmfao yeah right im only kidding about winning everytime fact is...is that you guys are mad talented for reals

Man, I know what ya' mean. I wear my earphones so long on days when I make music that my ears get fatigued before I'm done doing what it what do. I need some AKG's that fully cover my ears, these little sony joints press up on my head and ears after a few hours.

I can't even take it anymore man, my shits have been hurting the past few days, I been trying to track Beird (not even really mixing that since it's a 2 track from cassette) mix a track for Adru, and then various other projects along with these battles.

I'm just gonna have to chill and wait until I get into my new spot and get some monitors, I def. couldn't fuck with any of the levels in the beat I just posted cause my ears were done-zo..plus I just got a wisdom tooth taken out

my left ear has scar tissue on the drum already from fighting, I took a punch to the ear and didn't have hearing for a few days. When I finally got it back my ear was black and blue and rang like crazy...now when I mix anything for any amount of time it sets off the tinnitus in my left ear...riiiiiiiiing

anyway...as you were, back to the battle
