I voted keyboard sounds...specifically Rhodes, Vibes, vintage stuff...but also Bass sounds would be nice, like classic hip hop bass at varying levels of tune (16 levels-ish) like an MPC

Keyboard sounds would be great, but I don't think the 404 lends itself to multi-samples very well. I'd say keyboard or bass loops would be cool for some people, but i prefer to create my own. However you can never have enough drum samples :) - so that was my vote

i went keyboards. drum sounds are all over the web. if i may make a suggestion: i would love some 'sampled' sh 101, jx (3,8,10, mks 70), rs09, juno 6(6,60...) and i know this would probably fall under drum kits but tr(909,808) and tb 303 basses and kits would be nice.

but i would love it to authentically sampled and not the digitally remade version.

my 2 cents.

hey mike, did the 404 soft fall through or did roland say it detered from the 555's selling point or what?

hey mike -

i agree with the above peeps on drums on its availability.

keyboard stuff would be good.

howevs, i'm not sure where this would fall in yr poll (sound fx? kybrds?) but "stabs" would be good.

as in, 12-level keyboard sounds as suggested = great.

but also: weird horn phrases, string stabs, 'eastern' style stabs, etc - on their own - would be great too.

my two cents.
thanks for asking!

Bass sounds & drumkits.

A bit more specific; crash cymbals and running cymbals perhaps some hi-hats and bass drums also.

I totally need some running cymbals and crashing cymbals. 8)
