Where do you get the RCA to (1) quarter inch cables? I can't see any in the above link that look like they would work.

any radio shack, best buy, guitar center. most electronic or music stores sell them, or they sell adaptors as well.

well, i mean, you can just use a cable with two quarter inch jacks and use the headphone output of the sp 404. i mean, if you can't get the rca cable right this second.

The metal jacket RCA plugs look different, but they fit.
Don't get moulded RCA (like in basic hi-fi connects), despite they're the cheapest, if you travel a lot, they won't last long, although they would be ok at home if you don't tug at them.

...earwolf, that made my day!!! Probably the most polite way to answer that question.

There are no stupid questions, TheNihilisticIdiot, but if your next one is "how do I access my cf card, there's a piece of plastic blocking the way..."...

well...
