Tips for early beatmakers.

Hey sp forum, Im new. Not had my sp for long and was wondering if you have any tips for a beginner....Such as problems you encoutered when you started making beats and how you over came them....
Sorry if the questions a little vague, tis just i dont have any real problems...Just kinda wanted to pick up a few tips.

smoke a phat L & practice, practice & practice... j/k.. i'm still a student of this hobby of mine and i will always be... choppin samples, arrangement & better drum patterns is what i'm still trying to master and so i practice... learn from others on here or from your favorite producers but not bite... for me this is all fun and i enjoy making experimental isht even though my isht is wack... don't know if this helped you... any hows welcome to the boards...

y'know, i'm not some veteran beat maker or anyfing, but my advice (along with the above ^^ ideas) would be READ everything you can find.

interviews w/ producers, books about beats, biographies of groops (i'm reading run-dmc's Raising Hell right now...damn!), interviews with guys who do soundtracks and film scores, theory, history, y'know?

tape op, wax poetics...

not like, make it into work, but rather, just keep chasing knowledge and inspiration.

that keeps me going.

One thing I would tell a new beatmaker is to always sample in as loud as you can without peaking hard. Make sure the output of the source you are sampling from is all the way up and then adjust with the input level on the sp
