import file format problem!

I just tried to import some waves from my mpc2500 vie copying the files from the computer to the cf card with a card reader.
The files have the wrong file format :O

It works when I use waves created on my comp though. Help me please!

Sometimes when i load wavs from my computer on the CF card, and the put the card in the 404, they dont work, so I take those wavs and load em into audacity and export em as wavs again, then load those on the CF card and they work!
