he's not going to save the world, but it's refreshing to see our dumbed down electorate choose a suitably qualified candidate. it's been awhile since we had a competent leader, or one with any history of success in life.
on election night there were people dancing in the streets all over America... i've never seen anything like it. hell, none of us have. Obama light a fire under America's ass to get out and vote, to become engaged again in our political system... you have no idea the difference he has made already.
he will make mistakes and disappoint some folks, but that's life. the important thing is that the energy of his victory has begun the fundamental change of attitude Americans need in order to survive as a nation.
but i'll tell ya what- if he bombs Iran, i'll send you a dollar. which by then will be worth what, 60 pence?
