Something is not right here.
Whats up,
I just got the Sp 555 and I am trying to import my sounds using the waves converter they supplied but I get nothing. I exported some of the onboard sounds to the card and they are there and can be imported back to the 555 but when it comes to the sounds from the converter i get nada.
Does anyone know of how this is done or do you just have to import your sounds by just dumping on the card its self without using the nifty save you time converter program. Thanks in advance for any and all help on this topic

Its Crap
Thanx for the reply J,
As for the manual as far as the Wave conveter its straight crap. It tells you from a braod stand point of how to use it as far as if that doesn't work for you, it leaves you high and dry. As far as using the usb to sample how do you go about doing that.
Do I have to use the bundled sonar or is there another method. I tried straight sampling my sounds and that is ok but I want a little more quality. Again thanx for the reply Jay.

I have had samples that will not load using the wav convertor, a fix for a lot of them was to load them into Audacity, which is a free program, and tell audacity to "export file as wav" to my desktop, then i take the new wav file that audacity just created and load it into the wav convertor and 9 out of 10 times, it will then work.
