 Post subject: Spp 404 and PadKONTROL

everyone is saying this istheir fix to poor pads on the 404 but i don't understand what this does/what the setup is like. can someone explain?

MIDI control of the 404's samples using the pK's pads
it lets you have velocity control over the samples (control how loud they are triggered)
also gives you Flam and Roll options for expressive playing

so really you can just assign each pad 1-12 on the 404 to a pad on the korg and have banks in the same order?

Yeah or any other order, and 16 banks of 16 pads. If you set it up right that gives you 12 on the 404 and 16 on the pK so 28 total. Plus bangin the pK pads feels like your fingers are getting head while smoking kind and winning the lottery while St. Peter lets you into invite only super heaven.
