Oh, and RZA flips the same sample on "You Can't Stop Me Now" that DOOM did on King Geedorah. Cool to compare.

right on... haven't heard that album yet, but I'll def check it out. That same sample also gets used on the new Nas album, by Salaam Remi if my memory serves.

[edit] I recall Drewzle mentioning that RZA flipped it in the Nas thread, but I haven't heard what the track sounds like yet... It always bums me out to hear blatant recycling of loops like that tho.

These cats need to drop into the arena to hear how to flip a sample proper.

I think the RZA flip of "You Can't Stop Me Now" is my favorite out of the 3. I love how he talks about the SP 1200.

Yeah I like the RZA one, though I haven't heard the Nas one yet. The DOOM one is good too though. I feel ya about people need to dig deeper but really it's like a forum battle on a longer time frame. Cool to hear the variations.
