Im trying to record on audacity......but everytime i record the track in the computer there is a horrible buzzing noise on the playback...the actual track could be heard faintly in the background........what could I be doing wrong?????
Right, that explains a lot, a mic input is not designed to accept a line out level signal, this explains the distortion. Either lower the input leve on the mic or get a soundcard with line input.
that's another cool thing about having a macbook--1/8" line-in jack. i like not having to mess w/ interfaces now. my m-audio firewire solo doesn't work on the newest OS from apple & i just had to stop using it
Use the SP as a soundcard. Press the menu button and access the USB/MIDI options. Set output to mix and audio should be sent via usb. Make sure to set the SP as your soundcard in Audacity's preferences.
