I found a local ad somebody sellin a 303... I called that guy and I could get it for 90-100€?! (115-130 $)
Is it worth for me...? I got the 404 and a mpc1000... but you know shit looks soo beautiful... so street. 8)
This could be the beginning of a sp collection. Price seems to be ok, or what do you think?! There wasn't a 303 at germanys ebay for a looong time. Maybe I should see it as an investment?!
I'm pretty excited right now.. should I... Should I not... ???
100bugs are big money for me right now.
(machine comes without card)

I just want you to convince me... Naw for real what do you think?

I guess I've to make a decision within the next days...

I'm not sure if I understood the pattern mode on the 303?
It does not work like on the 404? Is it true that I have to switch between patterns by hitting them at the right time? Really ??? Even if I would use midi to sync 404 and 303 by an external source???

How do you 303 guys work with that pattern mode?
Any special things like a hidden pattern resample ability?
Is is true that I could record a sample while another is playing?
(Would be dope for live stuff...)

What about used 303's generally? What should I take care of?
I mean I can take a look before buying, so I will... *magnifying glass*
I feel like I need to dump the price a bit... Sounded like that dude got no idea what he's selling...
First time I called him: "Yo I'm interested in the SP 303... rara"
He: "I don't know what you mean. Must be wrong here...hangs up...
second try: I'm calling cause of the ROLAND GROOVE BOX...

Now he understood...

I was like "celebrate the times come on"... Hopefully he is no vistor of the forums...

I have to save that baby... 8)

You have to start the patterns with you own timing, but I'm sure you can trigger them perfectly with midi if you want. You could track a pattern to a stereo track on your computer and then sample that back into the 303 or just use the FLY LO trick.

No I don't think that's true man. At least I haven't figured that one out yet.

As for the patterns triggering right when you hit a pad... I'll be honest, is it kind of annoying. But Wax, with a 303 AND 404 you'll have like 10 ways to work around that. You'll love the 303 homes.

Talk him down to 80€ or 90€ and i'd buy it for sure!

Use this to your advantage, it's probably possible to talk him down to <80€.

I wouldn't had any problems paying 100€ for it but there was a dramtic misunderstanding... It's a MC 303; not a SP...
I don't need that one... people in here told me that it's too expensive anyway... but I've to admit that the MC303 looked great!

So no SP 303 in my lab... (yet)

I need a battle now... 8)
