I currently play live off a SP 404 and an MPC1000, and get a little irritated with both of the machines, so I have a few questions.
Does the SP555 save a sequence's tempo?
How good is the loop capture? (does it work like you want it to?)
And what are the effects like in a live situation.
I don't know anyone who has one, otherwise I'd play around with one to see if it behaves the way I'd like it to.
***EXTRA BONUS QUESION!!!
If you could play live off any sampler, what would it be?

1- no
2-Its good. It works wells but the autostart doesnt work well.
3- The effects are great and there are alot of new options that the 404 doesnt have like you can set effects like delay to the sequencer tempo instead of just the sample tempo. Theres also a few different settings on how you assign effects to samples. Also you can have the pedal trigger effects.
If I could choose any sampler to play live with it would be 2 555s
