Dres..Black Sheep

Post by break locator »

One of my top 5 favorite groups from the early 90's. They latest album(3rd to my knowledge)"8wm" is just as, if not, tighter than the '91 debut "a wolf in sheeps clothing" 17 years later Dres rips the mic like he always could along with Mr. Lawnge and his trademark jazz/rock beats. For all you true hip hop heads its a definite grab

lol, i figured there would be few responses to the post..maybe i should have said that Blacksheep were signed to Stonesthrow or he was produced by Madlib, or Mr. Lawnge uses a 303...how many of you actually know about the golden era of hip hop...? regardless of what sampler is used to make the beats

no no, not upset at all, not surprised either. just seems like people in here limit themselves so much. although there are probably many in here who may be familiar with the name black sheep, probably only a few have actually taken time to listen to the sound with the exception of hearing "the choice is yours" numerous times

Haha I'm sure there are many oldschool rap fans here, just like me (I have the Black Sheep LP). I'm much more into old stuff still like PE, EPMD, BDB, Gang Starr, Tribe and them. As MADLIB would put it "I know rap my man" :) (I know I listed mainstream artists tho)

"Checking" new records is not just always so easy, unless you just DL 'em.
