Hi there, I've only had my 404 for a few weeks. I'm also new to live performance, so I'm trying to figure out how to set everything up. I've been running everything (a drum machine and guitar) into a Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer. I'm having difficulty getting any sounds out of the sp when I run it through a mixer particularly when I use the effects. I think I need to run the sp into something else and then into the mixer, but I don't know what I could use to keep the signals separate.

thanks for the help

Which inputs did you used?! Tape in? Line in?
If you used Tape In you'll have to add the tape channels to the main mix.
(Button: "CD/Tape to main")
If you used the Line In there is a little button called "level". (Only at the stereo channels) It raises up the incoming signal from -10 up to +4db.

Let me know what's up.
I got a xenyx1832 so I'm sure we'll get it working.

Thanks for the help. I'm so glad someone else uses a similar mixer. I use the line in because I only bought RCA to 1/8" cable. I've turned the level up all the way and still get nothing. I'm going to buy rca to rca on my next day off and try out the tape in.

I'm not sure which kinda cable you're using but try to avoid the Tape In; you'll need those channels for other stuff...
You'll just need this cable:

You have to use the stereo line inputs (channel 3/4 or 5/6 on your xenyx) NOT the single mic/line inputs!!! Did you also raised the level of your 404 channel and of your main mix?! Are you sure that your xenyx mixer is correctly connected to your amp, soundsystem or whatever you use?

i got a feeling this could be a dodgy cord

i had the same problem the other day with a dual RCA - dual phono, it seemed to just die and only transmit really weak signal
