Yeh, if my 404 ever dies i would actually downgrade to a second hand 303. They go for a third of the price i paid for my 404 on ebay.

I really love the sound of the 404, so im curious to see if the 303 has got more of that really 16-bit sound if anyone knows what im talking about.

If my 404 dies then I'll just get another one, now if I came across a dirt cheap 303 with lots of SM (that's Smart Media you dirty mind :lol:

) memory cards then I might cop it though, but only if it has the Madlib extension pack.

dude that Madlib expansion pack is $$$$$$$$$$$$

but its worth it in the end, if you make a album with it you'll go and sell 50,000 copies, and have a following like none other... or Madlib

on the real though... I enjoy Madvillain, but Madlib doesnt inspire me at all to rock a SP... you guys inspire a lot more and make more interesting ish

its rare, its definitely good to look in local pawn/thrift shops and you might find one for a deal. i actually got mine from a garage sale, people didnt know what it was, so they gave it to me for free when i bought a lamp.. how great is that!

yea i see so many people picked up SP's because of Madlib then sell it off the next week because its "difficult".... my favorite thing "no waveform editing"... LOL! welcome to hip hop... and yeah there is no expansion, and if there was, i would not buy it lol
