IanniX? never heard of that... and by cheap graphics tablet do you mean a wacom? my ladies birthday is monday and i just got back from her parents house and she got one of those almost desktop sized tablets by wacom... illness for me aswell.. she does video stuff for a living and im working on graphics stuff.. should be rad..

stencil stuff is rad.. ive prolly only cut 2 or 3 in my time and none of them really came out good... i think i always try and bite off more than i can chew..

it a well known fact that people from texas really like it here... i cant think of any other state ive been to where its accepted for people to have the state tattooed on their bodies... white trash/fratboys/hotties/thugs and everything inbetween have been seen with texas on their bodies...
tx is pretty rad.. for the most part anyway..

the "dance piece" i did in that girls room... this is a deck i painted for her dad who is a cancer specialist..

the scale of the door to paint kinda sets this one off..

i was 18 when i did this... which means that was 10 years ago... yes im an old man.

It's a recent system based on the UPIC:

It's one of Wacom's lower ranges, rebranded and distributed by a company called Serif in the UK.

Yeah, this sort of thing makes me bitter! I would LOVE to get my hands on one of the Cintiq range, if I had a spare grand or two sitting around somewhere.

yea trust me i bite the tongue sometimes too with the stuff my ladie and her siblings get.. her parents are rad and in no way are they spoiled.. her dad just splurges on gifts because he can afford to... they got me a rad cannon scanner for christmas one year and set up a stereo in my jeep last year.. my family just doesnt do a 500 dollar gift for birthdays.. or any day.. like i said though it isnt overboard they are all good people...

jay... amaze is rad... i saw a deal with him and barry mcgee where amaze painted a massive fillin with silver cans on a museum that he had an exibit in... his stuff in espos book is rad too.. i tried finding the silver thing in google and couldnt..

yo tim what kind of paint did you use for that bike frame? it turned out sick. i'm planning on painting a frame but i don't want to fuck it up.

the bike was orig stock colors white and orange

i first stripped it with a gel paint stripper for metal.. you can get it at home depot or lowes or whatever... its toxic.. not good for you and will eat through normal latex gloves... when it gets on your skin it feels like fire ants (maybe a texas thing) are biting you a lot.. it burns alot.. when you put it on the paint after a few minutes it sounds like a bowl of rice crispies... anyway.. if you use the stuff for metal you should only have to do it once.. goop the stuff all over the frame and wait a bit and wipe it down... youre supposed to rinse it at that point.. i then used rustolem primer in grey... and the front half of the bike is krylon watermelon or cottoncandy i forget which... and the backhalf is one of the american accents colors i cant remember which.. if you really want to know i think i still have a can... all the "graphics" were done with cheap ass little jars of paint from hobby lobby called anitas... i did all the graphics and then clear coated the whole frame fork and handle bars a ton of times with rustolem cristal clear.. i used two or three cans full (being sure to let each coat dry FULLY before starting the next coat.. after a coat is FULLY dry whipe the whole thing down with a rag to remove any dust or paint dust so it doesnt make the surface rough use a t shirt for less lint) if you dont let it dry real well it can kinda fog the paint and the fogging is usually uneven... its hard to explain... if there is a hip hop store in your city or you know somone who does graffiti try and get a skinny or thin cap off of them.. i highly suggest using those on any spraypaint project.. the paint goes on much smoother and consistantly and stretches the paint a little farther too...

frame fork handlebars cranks all painted...

clear coating...

side note.... i used flat paint and flat clearcoat (matte clear made by rusto if i remember right) and it went on fine.. nice and thick.. but it ended up cracking over time.. like the subtle flexes and stresses a bike frame goes through made the paint crack... never seen that with the gloss clear..
