New sp 404 user

Hi guys,
I just buy the sp 404 coz i think is a realy good dj equipment but when i tried to import my drops from the computer using a memo card, the sreen always show the empty message and im a new user of the sp so please if someone knows how to do it help me...

Ni hao,

just make sure that all of your samples are in the correct format.
-->16bit; 44,1khz, stereo
Everything should be fine then.

Realy happy for the quick reply makes me feel good...
More questions:

1 Can i import a mp3 file to a 404? or they must be wav aiff?
2 In case in a have trouble whit the memo card can burn the drops in a cd and import then to the sp?

1. No, you only can import wav / aiff
2. Not sure what you mean... Never had troubles with cf-cards.

I said that coz i tried many times to import files whit the cf cards doseont work i though maybe easier whit the cd.

Just got a 404 myself and all you have to do is simply send your samples(.wav at the end of each) to the CF drive,not in the Roland folder and then you shouldn't have no problem...

You wanna upload your songs? Is it that what you mean?
If so convert your songs to mp3 and try

Or get a myspace account as far as this site is available in China...

Glad that I could help and why don't you just record yourself and mess with the fx for your drops since the 404 has a built-in mic?
