I don't think it is possible but can you track out each pad VIA MIDI when recording into a DAW?

Yes. Make a session in your DAW the same bpm as your beat, set the MIDI in to REMOTE, then do sweeps, muting tracks, or even volume zeroing all but only the sounds you want on each track.
