I was disappointed to discover that the 606 doesn't resample patterns or sequences, as I used to have a 404 and that was what pissed me off about that as well, so I am trying to figure out the most efficient workarounds.
I notice that when I hook the 606 up as an audio interface, I can record directly onto it via USB, but ios there any way to send the audio back the other way? Its a pain to have to hook it up to my audio interface everytime I want to resample a pattern onto the computer.
Resmamplig Patterns via USB?

You can record your patterns onto your computer through USB. Push the menu button and select the USB option (I think its the fourth one). Switch the input to "mix" and the audio goes both ways. I use Audacity to record patterns and then sample back into the SP-606. It's a pretty easy work around and with the amount of sample time on the SP-606 you can layer out some thick patterns.
As I've read here before, the SP-606 is not the easiest sampler/sequencer, but it is deep. Lots of possibilities.
