606 Freezes When I Try to Record a Pattern

I haven't used my 606 a whole lot since I got it a couple of months ago, so I decided to dig it out and start getting used to it but it keeps crashing when I try and recoprd a pattern.

What happens is I hit record, choose realtime record and then it either starts ticking the metronome and freezes, or it just freezes.

I messed around when I first got it and didn't have this problem, so I'm baffled as to what's causing it... any ideas?

I'm not sure why you're having this problem, but I would suggest a factory restore. If you have the CD, you can do this easily. If not, then I guess you'll have to download the necessary files from Roland.
