In my live act I need to be able to start a song very slowly and then bring it up to regular speed.

Is it best to bring a lo-fi sample brought in so that the 404 can handle the realtime time modify? I always get quavering, but so far i've only tried stereo samples i've recorded from a mic into the machine (which I figure are harder to handle as there is more going on) Is it better to slow the sample down in the original wav sample file and then speed it up? or the reverse?

Also, can you apply a time modify to 2 tracks playing at the same time, or just one at a time?

ps: just got this thing today.... what an amazing piece of hardware :D

THANKS for any suggestions!
