How do i select a pad without triggering off the sample during Pattern playback? If i want to select a pad to add the gate or reverse... how do i select it without disturbing the Pattern?

Thanks

During playback? I don't think this is possible actually.

not 100% sure, but you can try my trick. make sure you have NO fx on. start pattern, it's playing along, hold down remain, select the pad you wanna mess with, then hit reverse. may have to try experimenting w/ hitting reverse while still holding 'remain' versus letting it go, etc.

remain is usually used for setting up fx, etc, but it also can be used for just selecting / pre-selecting pads.

might work. good luck.

You know, i've had trouble with the 'Current Pad' button and applying effects, has anyone else experienced this?

A pattern's playing and i want to add an effect to a certain pad, i hold down 'Current' whilst selecting the relative sample and but it won't select?! I eventually have to select the pad manually (which often means the sample playback is outta time with the pattern playback), then press current.. then apply the effect.
