I thought this was pretty fresh !

that's amazing. i wonder what sort of effects they got?

there's also a Roland A-6 which is very much like a video version of the SP-808:

Awesome, they also seem to be responding to the fact that so many people like the red and black oldschool look more than the blue and silver scheme. Looks like a fun piece of kit.

oh wow...ha. its pretty much identical hey? that's great. i'm not a video guy, but that's a pretty schweet little box.

i love that it has the "ext source" button that looks the exact same!

Realtime VJing definitely is cool!

Also, that Roland machine seems pretty cool, the SP-808ex look-alike I mean. :)

that Edirol P-10 can read/record to a 16 gig SD card

looks perfect for VJing...be great to have one of these next to the SP for a live show (maybe even synced to the SP?!) i think the EXT Source button means you can feed live video into it, you could create visual feedback from the little screen, or just point the camera at the audience

Video-sound beats, that would be awesome... the video samples would give you instant-video mixes as well. Quite a cool idea actually!

Downside is that you'd have to get some nice main samples to rip video parts of.. with music.
