hey. when i make abeat, sometimes certain pads will cut out before i want them to. like for example, i play a sample that is chopped for say 4 quartar notes (a bar), and it plays the bar by itself. but when i record it to the pattern with drums n junk playing, it might cut out erraticly at say 3 beats. Im thinking it might be a polophony problem? thing is, it has no trouble if for example the drums are playing, and i just hit the pad without recording...but as soon as i try record the damn thing it cuts out a bit everywhere. makes my beats sound a little wobbly and choppppy and not smoothe out right :x What is the max poliphony of the 404? i didnt think i was exeeding it, but maybe i am.....i tend to layer a lot of drums to keep it busy. hmmmm......

sounds like a polyphony issue..

try Resampling some pads in mono (ie hit Stereo so it is unlit) to free up voices

the 404's polyphony is 6 stereo voices at a time, or 12 mono voices
