midi sync the sp404 to my oxygen8 using native instruments kore player as my vst

what is your VST host?
your host DAW should be able to send MIDI Out, then the 404 can receive it and play in sync
(you need a MIDI interface for your computer but i assume your oxygen 8 is going through MIDI In to the VST, yeah?)
