if you guys could tell me that would be great, im low on cash and thats the cheapest one i can find, i know the 404 only takes certain types of cards, sandisk being one of them, but this isnt the ultra II version, which is what i use currently, but im not too sure ithese will work.

I have that one, too, and it works just fine with the 404. Here is a list of recommended cards from the user's manual:
It also works fine with PNY cards, at least the "plain vanilla" ones.
BUFFALO: RCF-G (256 MB, 1 GB), RCF-X (32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 512 MB)
