BATTLE 27

Image

this song is from a cd i got at the goodwill. it has no english whatsoever on it, and on the reverse side of the lyric sleeve there is an ad for maple syrup. i'm also including a field recording of drunk people walking across a street to be used at your leisure. hopefully the drum break provides enough freedom... have fun!!

I think ill give it a week.

Yepz, you have to! (But only in your sp of course.)

That drum break could be fun and the sample is nice too.
But what can I do with drunken people?! Too bad that they don't sing...

Lol, fun samples. Even the one with the drunk people may be useful actually.

Howdy everybody. I've been lurking these forums for a while now and I got my 404 about 2 weeks ago so I guess this is a good time/way to make an introduction, hahaha. I'm still not all that hot at making full songs, so this is more of a sketch and whatnot.

I dig it! I like the rhythm you've got going. It's like you replaced her with a bellydancer. Kinda sly and sexy sounding.

Edit: I was in the mood for some random silly drum n bass. Here's a little jam. If I have enough time I'll make it into a proper track: battle 27 jam.mp3 - 1.77MB

As I never listen to your tracks b4 my track is done, I can't comment them now :)

Meteorologist - Nice entrance, very pleasant and slow loop, with some dirty drums, I like your sample

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII - hehe nice shit, reminds me of a soundtrack to a movie about war in vietnam e.g. ( maybe without those hihats :) ) - overall, solid track as always ( nice addition of drunken ppl ;p )

JayLost - haha, I wanted to do similar beat, as I loooove those cut-voices! :) Another fine track!

mattb - cmon man, I know you can do some crazy ass chops, don't get complacent with this drum beat :)
