SP 505 OR 606

I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT EACH UNIT FOR SOME TIME NOW. I WAS WONDERING WHAT ARE THE BIG DIFFERENCES IN EACH MODEL. I WAS ALSO WONDERING WHAT COMPLAINTS, IF ANY, THAT YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT EACH UNIT. WHAT ABOUT THE GOOD ASPECTS??

i use 606. Well the step sequencer is totally senseless to program, i complain about it, because i like to program jungle-like breakbeats - haha and it's tough programmin such beats in live recording!

I guess this is the only complaint i would express!

Hmm...tough choice. Depends on you really. The 505 has 2 pitch banks wich let u pitch a sample over an octave. The 505 has non destructive chops and the 606 does not. The 606 however has 2 FX engines instead of 1 plus a mastering effects section. The 606 has much better pads that add velocity sensitivity. The 606 also has add on computer software and works as an audio interface. It also loads faster than the 505 does...but I find the layout of the 505 aot faster.
