hey all -
has anyone figgered out a way to work the quantize, to produce a 33% swing?

i THINK frantic posted something about a 75%....

anyone had success?

heh heh...i've got another sampler (and have used software) where you can dial in the % of swing on a quantized beat.

i fink you posted something about quant at 16ths with triplets being equal to 75% swing (could be misremembering) on mpcs.

wonderin if anyone's figgered out a 404-quant setting equal to 33% swing. that seems to fit what i'm doing best.

does that make any sense?

my other option (as always) is just hitting it freestyle (ie: no quant) but i could use as much help as i can get.

ahh.. yes. 68% = 16th triplets quantization. Or it might be better to say that 16t quantization is up to 68% swing on an mpc or something like that. So, if u time it right you should still be able to get 33% swing while quantizing at 16t.
