sorry, I had to completely delete the whole original battle vote thread. Everything was too fucked up. You can post your beat again elhau and I'll put it in the poll. As some have mentioned the deadline is too inconsistent, I'll try to do better.

Deta!L, i love your chops, great ears, the bass line is really fat but i dont' like the drums sounds choice and programming. my vote goes to Juxt, nice beat man, the drum is fuckin dirty and the chops are nice, good job.

Really a hard one...

Count Sierackula: Awesome sound creation and arrangement.
That drum final was great. I can hear a lot of work in that track. Really impressive. I tried to follow that drumline bud I didn't get a picture of those patterns. (Did you resampled those delayed snares and hihats or are they "live played"? )

MattB: CRACKIN !
Super clean production, awesome work on drums and perc.
Shit got me goin crazy. I like the structure of the instrumental with all its ups and downs. That shit is ready for the club man!

Deta!l: DOPEST chops!
Yeah you def. picked the good ones. bass was dope too. I like the smooth drums. It's a really dope beat for freestyling (scratchin&rappin). But again that melody you made outta this chops is mad dope. Some more breaks in that drumrack would have been nice, but i guess it's a dj's job!

xdrewx: Good shit homie!
In my opinion one of the best beats I heard from you. Dunno how you think about. Get a lil deeper into your tape deck and you get it rollin.

Juxt: Drums, drums, drums
You're a freak at this point man and you know it. Too bad this track was cut up after a min or sth. Dope chops (the vocals were hot) & great drums; another j-classic!

elhau: All 4 the attitude !
Yeah man wipe them out!
You did a good job in cutting the song. Pretty clean "chops".
Vocals are cool!

So who's gonna take it?

Right now: MattB

BUT I loved the beats from the Count, Detail and juxt in the same way. Maybe your clean work was the lil sth that convinced me (beside the dope track of course).

Wow, really tough battle.

Count : really some insane switches you made in there, definitely technically the best and most interesting beat.

Mattb : great up tempo beat. love it. It reminded me of a Tarantino movie score, really good job. Love the rhythm groove especially.

Deta!L : great use of those vocals, relaxed beat as well with a fitting title. :) I had hoped for a little more punch in the drums, but it's cool and mellow this way which is cool as well.

Juxt : Love the punch of that fast base line and those drums are kicking pretty good.

Elhau : Relaxed beat, very clean beat and good chops. Could have used a slightly faster tempo for my taste perhaps, but I liked it a lot anyways.

xdrewx : Good beat as well, drums are definitely some of the best I've heard from you so far. Good use of interesting chops as well.

High quality material here guys, good job! I have to go with mattb this time, loved the movie feel I got from it. Juxt a very close second.

As always, excellent stuff by the other peeps as well, really enjoyed listening to all of 'em. 8)

Don't feel bad about it man, your beat was good and life is living and learning all the time anyways.

I'd give you a vote for effort, but all of you guys def deserve that... It would be unfair to others though. I mean, with a small amount of total votes like last battle, really every vote counts.

It's pretty difficult to exactly explain and pinpoint what you can improve on, but you got the basic stuff down better than me.. I mean drums-wise for sure.

You can have my vote, Detail... loving the groove. Juxt's too, but so short! I'm loving all the entries though, I always dig hearing the different takes on mixing stuff up.

Also props to Wax Inspector and Phemox for putting so much effort into their posts offering encouragement for all the entries. And thanks for the votes too! :D

Juxt, thanks for adding me to the poll.

My vote goes to Count.
Your stuff is crazy man x)
I smile each time I listen to it.
A lot of work with this and I appreciate it.

Yeah man, don't worry.
You're not the only one with "incredible round 0" number of votes, so there is no reason to be upset :)

i really liked counts juxts and mattb's. but i have to give it to matt b. the bass in juxts sounded like it was way over peak and didnt really go with it. and i wasnt to into the loud bell like sound in counts...mattb had a really clean beat loved the bass. pretty much between those three beats it was really hard to decideso i got really picky cause they were all realllllly dope.

Nice beats dudes. Couldn't make it myself coz I had two little holiday trips during the week. I voted for Deta!L this time - very nice and relaxing. Count was dope as allways and liked mattb's beat a lot too.
