i have pl;enty of patterns and samples, i will be using the p606 software, so where do i start?
That's a tough question! And not one I can answer on forum properly...
With any electronic music, from techno to hip-hop, the place to start is with the beat and the bassline. These two elements contain all of the energy and power of the track.
As far as patterns go, start by copying some tracks that you love. This is not 'ripping off' the artists - it is learning!!!
If you get the beats and bassline right, you are more than halfway to a decent track...
