I just went to switch on my 'other' turntable. . the one that is a bit further from my computer and so only gets used when I'm mixing,
and I noticed this crunching noise and the platter would hardly spin at all.. fear quickly sets in, my beloved musical equipment was crying out in agony!

there's the weed I thought I had lost at this party I was at last week!

I guess I must've stumbled in that night, stashed it and gone to bed.

i've been puffing some amazing homegrown lately, courtesy of a good friend's rapport with plants. so every so often now i'll find a little stash of a few hydro buds that i'd put in some container for a night out and then neglected in the cloud that followed....always a good feeling

for me it's smoke the stash an forgot to put the record back into its right album sleeve.... some of my records are all over the place...

one time i lost a bag in my closet, couldn't remember where exactly and couldn't find it. it stayed gone till i told a friend the story. here was there in an hour ripping shit apart till we were puffin... =)

one time i lost a bag and it was GONE. a week goes by and i see right on the floor under my window. thing was i had looked there, specifically, several times. don't tell me it was there cause it fucking wasn't. then it was. the universe borrowed my sack, then returned it. fair enough.

lots of other stories, mostly obscured by clouds. one time my car ate 4 hits of a 10 strip. good times...

once we had this house party in this old abandoned place near me. when i say party i mean there were 5 guys drinking and smoking. so we basically trash the place, collapse and then leave the next morning. well a couple of months later me and this guy decide to go back to the house because we're bored and have nothing to do. we sit around chilling and throwing shit at the wall. then we go upstairs and look at our empty make-shift bong we made from a bottle. we head back downstairs and talk about stealing the furniture and then on we smash this vase of the wall.

it breaks but there was something inside it. yes it was our hash and weed. one of us sneaky bastards must have hidden it there and then totally forgot about it. ok so we think the hash is ok because well it's hash and it's a brick basically but the weed is a bit mouldy. to hell with it we smoked it all. almost immediately after smoking (we just rolled it all up into 2 joints mixing the hash and weed) i began to start tripping balls. like real tripping like you were on shrooms or something.

now people say they hallucinate from weed and i usually call them a liar because the psychoactive hallucinogens are basically in trace amounts at most but here i was tripping my face off. we were both staring at this picture and started making up this story. like my friend was saying he could see somebody coming out of the house (in the painting) and then i was seeing it.

it was weird. but apparently smoking mould will really fuck you up big time.

Hot Sauce: that's a great story but i have to tell everyone not to smoke moldy weed looking to trip. you can get really sick, believe me i know. here's how to make moldy weed smokable again:

1. get a small canning / mason jar i.e. a glass jar with a screw on metal lid
2. poke a few holes in the lid with a hammer and nails
3. put the weed in the jar, put the lid on, then cover the lid with tin foil
4. put the jar right-side up in a pot of boiling water for an hour
5. toke up

repeat step 5 as necessary. =)

oh man this is a dope thread... some really really great stories!

I smoked moldy weed one time... really moldy, but only a little bit. I had a stash spot behind my moms house senior year... literally under a rock, in a hole about 12 inches deep. I had a little film canister I turned into a portable bong with a piece of socket wrench and some plastic pens (always fun gettin all MacGyver with it!)... and I'd double bag the shit with my stash and then burry it under the rock. Well... one evening when I was visiting from college, and straight fiending, I remembered the stash spot! Pretty funny that when I looked there was like half a nug left... kindof wet and stuff... and totally nasty lookin! Needless to say I dried that shit and made it disappear! It tasted horrible, and only gave me a slight head change... but technically, I felt high, or at least stoned. Good to get that kind of shit done and out of your system at a young age when you can still bounce back from smokin killer mold!

Another time I found a twamp stashed in a book set in my bookshelf. It was a set of the OG starwars books, all 3 of em... one of em was missing (not sure which one) so I put the stash in there and turned it around so you could only see the closed-off end. I found it when I was packing up to move to vegas... a little bay area love to ease the pain. Weird that George Lucas had something to do with it. The force was definitely lookin out for a brotha.
