The Notwist - on planet off. If you'd call that a beat in a classical way.

Hard to say... but I would say my favorite beat would probably have to be "I changed my mind" By Lyrics Born. Produced by DJ Shadow

Hard question...

Oh No - Move, Produced by J Dilla

Shopping Bags - De La Soul, Produced by Madlib

And quite an underrated song imo...
Its On - DJ Vadim feat. Vakill, produced by Vadim. (This is the vid on my myspace, sweet ass vid also! Amaizing use of very obscure samples to create a sound seldom replicated)

i've been playing this song practically non-stop recently, the beat is definitely one of my favourites of this year:

Vordul Mega (Cannibal Ox) - Megagraphitti (Prod. Zach One)

woah forgot about Vordul Mega....like i said on that video he sorta lived in the shadow of Aire imo while in Ox. This is really cool....that beat is uncanny...the same dark feel as an El-p joint really fits mega. thanks for this i love it.

aw yeah! another notwist fan - soooo great. new album is fabulous.

i've been obsessed with this simple groove in JayTram's "For Ghost", and the static stutter weirdness in Geskia's "We Are".

"Parisian Goldfish" by Flying Lotus. If you haven't heard his stuff I suggest you do. He has a myspace page. He is an artist on the Warp label. Super dope!!!
