am i blind?

Post by beatifictatter »

just got our sp-404.....first sampler, i'm impressed. have chucked some octaves in to it from m-tron and eastwest orchestral and sifting through drum sounds, all sounding great. some good fx on there too. i want to make some musical patterns, in similar way to the loop recording function on the sp-555, i know i cant do that, but can i at least record/sample to a metronome so that the phrases/pads will synch with each other? only seem to be able to get any kind of metronome when in pattern mode, and i want it in normal recording mode.....cheers

you can only access the metronome whilst laying down a pattern.

its cool, i can keep it pretty tight with the visual blue light metronome thing, didnt know it did that before....also, just sussed that can record patterns real quick using as many pads as i want on to one pad by doing a performance whilst re-sampling, everyone probably knew that, but sweet, i was really missing that kind of function for the first couple of days...
