Battle #20 Unofficial (Video)

hey guys

i didn't finish my track for Battle #20 in time, but i had chopped the song up and found some really nice sounds in there. i exported the chopped samples from the SP and played around with them on my Palm in a program called Bhajis, then exported the track i made back into the 404 for some more re-edits and effects Resampling on the separated channels

i made my bassline, drum tracks and other noises from non-battle material, but those of you who competed in Battle 20 will probably recognise that airy melody part.

the sound quality of the camera is a pretty bad, i'll upload a clean mp3 of this track later on

Checked out the video man,I liked it!But my favorite tune of yours was that feb '08 jam.I thought it was nice an relaxing.I'm ready to get my day started now...lol,it's (6:45 am where im at) ill work keep doin ya thing!peace!

thanks for checking it out guys, i really appreciate your kind words : )

i haven't performed with the SP but i'm definitely keen to try. at the moment i am trying out different techniques with different songs i've made, trying to develop a bag of tricks and build my confidence on the machine. i'd like to busk with it one day....

Wax - i forgot to record into my soundcard for that June joint

i got that CF card out again today and did a re-recording through my mixer and into my soundcard. used some different transitions and effects to the video, so it'll sound a bit different:
