easiest way to load a drum kit on the 606
do i just get one shot samples and put them to the pads importing them from the memory card?
You can do it that way, but I find it a little slow.
Another option is to make a 16 track file for your DAW and load the whole lot at once, splitting the sounds across the pads using the autochop.

This does two things that are beneficial;
1 - makes your drumkits coherent, as you'll be thinking in terms of a kit rather than individual sounds.
2 - avoids the file directory running out of slots on the hardware (It'l only recognise 200 files at once, which runs out, believe me!)
