hey..i just noticed when i was trying to make a pattern....the quantize is laggy. I tried every setting of quantise trust me, and adjusted the samples so they hit exactly when i press the pad and everything.
The sample is 2 bars chopped to 8 pads. When it plays, the drums are on point, and most of the samples triggered are too...but when the patern gets to a new bar, the sample that lands on "1" seems to be out by maybe a 16th or 32nd...just enough to throw out the beat more then i want.
Is this possably a firmware issue? i havent updated the os so i dont think i have the abolute latest release. the sequencer does at times seem slightly wobbly. which is okay when intended but frustrating when your looking for tight. :x
still.....i heart 404. now i got some fresh records (daptones 45s :) ), im loving it.

i've had this problem a few times...every time i was using a budget CF card (made by 'Unity Digital')

have you tried using a different card?

i exported all the samples on the dodgy card into WAVs, then copied the pattern files from the card onto a more reliable card and imported the samples again.

can't hurt to update the firmware either

im not using a cf card at the moment. intereesting you say that tho drwzle...i had tried a 1gig budget card by "kingston"...which was nothing but frustration (killed off all my samples and patterns that were loaded and replaced them with screaming static :D). anyway, now i think about it...i have a feeling the box has only become this loose with timing and memory since the death card was placed into its brain.......considering your card did the same...i think i might get a propa card and format the thing with new os and the works.

8) yeh....i just went into a record store first time properly digging and found plenty of great funk 45s form daptones and shit. def. shopping there again!
anway. id love to post the track once its done...as soon as i get this timing issue sorted.
