i've done some bending before, and i can't recommend this book highly enough. takes you through step by step so you understand everything, from tools to techniques to finishing up the case. one of my favorite tips was to use a photo-sensitive diode anywhere you would have put a knob, so you can tweak it just by waving your hand over the top, like a theramin. that (really simple) mod to any hack makes any bend that much more impressive. you should see the looks you get when you show it off. anyway get the book.

get a knob with wires attached and go exploring :)

i turned a perfectly innocent farm-animal-schoolbus into a satanic glitch machine of the apocalyps...

funny shit!

you press the animals' heads and it makes the nastiest sounds known to man
Samples.
