Memory Card for 505

In the SP 505 manual it says that it needs 128 md memory cards.
The question might -or might not- be stupid, however, will there be a problem if I use 1gb cards? I can't find anything smaller.

Are you sure that you have an smart media card?
I think that you have an sd card and it's not the same...
The 505 accepts sm cards up to 128mb or you could get an xd to sm converter and buy cheqper xd cards from Ebay.

Well I didn't know you could even get 1gb SM cards but either way the manual for mine said it takes up to 128mb, but whether that means the rest of the space on the card will go unused or it just won't work I'm not sure.
