any synth should do, (I used alphakanal automat, a free au plugin)
the trick with the scratching sound is to use white noise in place of a regular oscillator
then just apply a bandpass filter with high resonance. . that brings out the tone. .
I used filter envelope with a short decay so it sort of sweeps the dominant frequency down as it plays . .the combination of the noisyness and the falling tone give it that sound..
linking the note velocity to the envelope depth lets you play different pitches, and holding the note longer/shorter (in a range similar to the decay time of the envelope) gives you some varied sounds too.
there was a bit of distortion afterwards, but thats basically it.
The bass is mainly 2 detuned squares, with a bunch of processing / eq / compression / reverb
