sp606 2 to audacity
so i can take a 1/4 inch to mini jack cable hook it up to the computer and hit record on audacity and play on the sp 606 and export it out of audacity as an mp3 and burn it?
Yes, no worries at all.
Make sure you have the output of the 606 up really high (but not clipping of course). This will ensure that the signal doesn't get too muddied with noise (signal/noise ratio).
About 2db under 0 (clip) will give you a nice punchy sound while still leaving enough headroom to apply any EQ or Mastering plugs on the computer.
