Hi,
If I use the sp-555 as midi controller with ableton live, does it reflect clips status?
For example, if pad 1 of the SP-555 is midi mapped with clip1 in ableton live: if clip1 is triggered via mouse in ableton, does pad1 reflect the status of the clip1 (light on if clip1 is playing and light off when clip1 is stopped in ableton)?
Thanks in advance for your response.
light feedback with SP-555 as a midi controller?

I should say that u will need to have something recorded to the pad for it to light up. but aside form that it should.

It depends more on the software than the SP-555 actually... the SP just sends midi messages... whether that's one longer signal or several shorter behind eachother, either way it will cause the SP pads to light up. Probably also the case for software programs interpretations of the incoming SP messages.
