there was a bass drum/tom double hit somewhere towards the beginning of the track (after the long guitar intro just as the drums kick in). i threw Subsonic on the chop and tweaked the Threshold knob until it registered the gap between the hits (too little Threshold and you just get a continuous low sine wave) to retain the groove. then i Resampled this with the Subsonic 4 times at 4 different pitches, then sequenced those 4 pitched chops under the drums.
i haven't played anyone else's beats yet, gonna grab them all now and have a few listens before the voting begins
