SCRATCH EFFECTS

on the sp-404 my friend arafat found a scratch effect on there and it really made his music sound hella-good
i wanted to know if there is a scratch effect for the sp-606?
do u have to make it like making a bass from drum kicks?
if anyone can help i would like to know. since i cant scratch on my turntable.

on my 404 i use the dj looper as a scratcher.. just push like hell on your sample pad and use knob 2 to controll pitch..

No scratch effect unfortunately; I think the 606 is less aimed at the hip-hop market than the 404.

All is not lost, however. If you want to achieve something similar, you can combine the 'Feedback Ripper' effect with the 'Pitch Shifter' effect and get some interesting, scratchy sounds.

Alternatively, you can use a VST scratch effect within P606 and save the resulting sound back onto the hardware. Simple!
