that shit is really dope man..and we got identical set ups...i got that wu manual a couple years ago, you're right, the beat making part is mad inspiring, actually better than any beat articles i've ever seen in any magazine. i just noticed the bang bang flip...i always wanted to do something with that.am i allowed to ask what effect you used on the guitar? peace

thanx 4 all the feed back, as far as the bang, bang sample....its pretty basic, I think I set the pitch on a little higher and then I pitched it on Wavpad so it sounded a bit distorted....The Wu-Tang Manual doesnt teach you how to make beats, it just gives you a visual of What Wu-Tang is but it covers the style of the RZA and Vintage Samplers

he does give a lot of info on classic machines though..including sample rates,bits,etc...lays out exactly what gave that old shit the sound it has.he also talks about different ways to manipulate samples.not so much a how to,but a lot of useful and interesting information.you hear everybody talk about sp 1200's and mpcs..but some of the dopest beats of all time have been made on the asr.if you can read the two chapters on production and not be inspired to sit and make beats all day, somethings wrong, shits dope.now if we can only get that album that "takes it back to the 36 chambers"like they say everytime a new wu joint comes out.a perfect example of technology working against you is the decline in rzas production.
