 Post subject: 404 INTERNAL MIC VOLUME ADJUST?

anybody know if there is a way to adjust the internal mic in the 404? I swear i'd like to get mine hotter then it currently is. seems i saw it posted somewhere but can't find it now.

There's a tiny knob just on the front right of the SP.

thanks for the feedback and i'm sorry i never stated the obvious. Yes I read the owners manual (and followed instructions) and yes, I adjusted the external volume control and it did not help. I could barely get the red overload red light to blink, even with shouting right into the mic itself. I'm looking for an internal adjustment sequence that can boost the level.

I'm almost sure this is what you want and I found it in the 404 manual.
Set the internal processing level [CANCEL] + [START/END/LEVEL] + CTRL 3 knob
If that doesn't fix it, there might be sumpthin' wrong with your 404 or you could have a weak microphone.
You could also use a preamp to boost your signal from the mic.

It's cool, I've read both the 303 and 404 manual so in depth looking for functions I might not have discovered yet.
