so anyways im looking at a 303 but im just wondering whats so good about it.
i have a 404 and am looking at getting another sampler/drum machine. i think the 303 looks good and from what i have read it seems good. i would like to have another peice added to my collection and to expand my mind and flexibility as a musician please give me some feedback
need info on the 303 badly

I'd say they are the same but the 404 has more fx and another two quantize settings. I love the playability of my 303 and it's seems the pads do respond a little differently on the 404 but I feel I could do all the same stuff I do on a 303.
I personally want a 404 now because it's battery powered which is a huge plus in my lifestyle of travel.

I never owned a 303 but it seems a lot like the 404 so if your looking for something to expand your mind and flexibility the 303 may be the wrong machine. You may be looking for something completely different than the 404 like an mpc, emu sp1200, or ensoniq asr/ eps - just throwing a few ideas at you.
